When Does the Season Open?
Official information from Erciyes Ski Resort projects the ski season to start on 1 December. However, the opening date changes every year with snowfall and artificial snowmaking conditions; as of September 2026, the exact opening date for the 2026–2027 season has not been announced. Last season opened in the second half of December.

Which Gate Will You Use?
Erciyes has four entrance areas: Tekir, Develi, Hisarcık and Hacılar gates. The gate areas offer cafés, restaurants, a market, ski rental and changing rooms. Tell us which gate you want when you book; the fare is metered according to the gate and route.

Book ahead: weekend and holiday mornings are busy; book your taxi the day before. Plan your return: tell us when you want to come back from the slopes; you can book the return trip too. Mention your equipment: tell us how many skis, snowboards and boot bags you have. Allow for the weather: the road is slower in snowfall and the trip may take longer. Public transport: municipal buses also run at weekends during the season; timetables are announced at the start of the season. Winter tyres: the road to Erciyes requires winter-ready tyres; all our cars have winter tyres.
